Hi, I’m Claire Moody, your local Liberal candidate for Brand.

I’ve been part of this community for over 30 years. Born and raised in WA as the oldest of four siblings, family and community have always been central to my life. I attended local schools, started my first job, and built my career right here in Brand.

My professional experience has equipped me with practical leadership skills and a solid understanding of what it takes to drive change and find real-world solutions. Through my involvement in local community organisations, I’ve seen firsthand that our most valuable contributions are our time and effort. I believe in rolling up my sleeves and getting involved, just like many of you do, to strengthen our community.

I’m running to represent our community because I understand the unique challenges and opportunities we face. I am committed to being a strong voice for the people of Brand, advocating for fairness, integrity, and accountability.

I’ve listened to your concerns about access to healthcare, job security, the rising cost of living, and housing affordability. We face challenges such as strained healthcare services, law and order problems impacting all areas of the community, and a housing crisis affecting many families. With Australia’s largest Navy base located here, we also need to seize the future opportunities that AUKUS offers, much better than we are now.
