Biography

I’m Chris Dowson, your local Liberal for Bicton.

Growing up in regional WA, my parents taught me the value of community and hard work, showing me how important it is to put in the effort and make your own opportunities.

And throughout my life, that’s what I’ve aspired to do.

My education laid the foundation for a diverse and extensive career that has taken me around the world. After graduating from the University of Oxford, my professional journey has broadened my perspective and deepened my commitment to making a positive impact right here in Western Australia, which has always been home.

I’ve spent my career working in state government, the legal sector, and in education, always aiming to achieve real, tangible results. My variety of experience, both across WA and abroad, helps me understand and address the issues that matter most to our community. I’m committed to being a strong advocate for Bicton in State Parliament, ensuring our voices are truly heard and respected.

As part of the Liberal team, I’m fighting for real action on the cost of living, better access to health services, more resources for local police to crack down on crime, and supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs to create jobs.

I am here to listen to you, to serve you, and to be your voice. I bring the energy, dedication, and experience needed to deliver real results for our community.
