Biography

I’m Heather Reid, your local Liberal for Bunbury.

I grew up in Regional WA and live in Bunbury with my family. We love everything about this region, from our tight-knit community to our stunning shoreline. Bunbury is a fantastic place to settle down, raise kids, build a career, and retire.

I’ve had a varied career in the health, construction, and mining industries. I’ve worked on major projects and learned what it takes to get things done! I know what’s needed to support local business and attract industry to our region to ensure sustainable growth, economic prosperity and future jobs.

My family and I are passionate about our community. As a long-time member of Bunbury Rotary and a volunteer with the South-West Indian Group and Southwest Football League Committees, I’ve seen firsthand the struggles many families face – paying their mortgage, affording rent, and providing their children with the opportunities they deserve.

As a member of the Liberal team, I am determined to fight for real action on the things that matter to you: lowering the cost of living, funding our health services, fixing the housing crisis and increasing investment to tackle local crime.

Our community has been severely let down by a ‘metrocentric’ Labor Government. I will work hard to attract funding and resources to create a vibrant, dynamic, and liveable community, ensuring the standard of living we all deserve.
