Biography

I’m Rod Henderson, your Liberal candidate for the district of Swan Hills.

I have lived in Swan since the 1980’s with my wife Christine and our two children.

I believe in the importance of family, hard work and community service.

My first job was serving the community as a technician on ABC radio, television and microwave transmitter networks throughout WA.

I started my own small business with a vision to build a strong business that would create jobs, support local manufacturing and sell specialised electronic products worldwide. We have built the business for over forty years.

I’m a local Councillor with the City of Swan  and I have been fighting for our community in this role for the past five years in the Swan Valley/Gidgegannup ward. My active involvement in community issues gives me strong insight into the issues that concern us all.
