Biography

I’m Tim Milnes, your local Liberal for Geraldton.

My wife Cherith and I are proud to have raised our four children here. Our connection to Geraldton drives our commitment to its future.

We are actively involved in local sports associations and community events, viewing our volunteer work not just as a duty, but as an opportunity to give back to the community we love.

As a clinical psychologist, I witness first-hand the challenges our community faces due to inadequate health and mental health services. I’ve seen the heartbreaking impact of suicide, the trauma endured by our servicemen and women, and the struggles with drug use that affect so many lives.

Small businesses are the backbone of our community, yet they are increasingly burdened by rising costs and excessive regulation.

At the same time, we are grappling with record levels of crime and local people are feeling unsafe.

I bring the energy, experience, and determination needed to tackle these issues head-on and to be a strong voice for Geraldton in State Parliament.

As your Liberal candidate, I am fighting for real solutions to the cost of living, increased investment in our region, and practical approaches to addressing the housing crisis.

I’m here to listen to you and work tirelessly on your behalf.
