Residents and local business owners in Brabham will feel safer in the community, with a re-elected Morrison Government committing $100,000 to install new CCTV across the suburb.
Liberal Member for Hasluck, Ken Wyatt, said the funding commitment will increase the City of Swan’s CCTV footprint at high pedestrian traffic locations, and reduce anti-social behaviour.
“This funding will support the installation of CCTV at eight key entry points in Brabham and four key exit points in Morgan Fields,” Minister Wyatt said.
“Crime prevention is a top priority for the Morrison Government and we know that CCTV deters crime and is a vital tool for our police when incidents do occur.
“This funding boost will help expand the City of Swan’s CCTV network to accommodate for a growing community and ensure residents feel safer and local businesses better protected.
“Reducing crime and providing a safer community is part of my local Plan for Hasluck. By delivering a strong economy, the Morrison Government can continue to invest in these important upgrades for local communities.”
Only the Morrison Government has a plan to continue delivering a strong economy and a stronger future for the residents of Hasluck.
