May 13, 2022 | Federal Members, Ken Wyatt

A re-elected Morrison Government will provide $13 million towards the revitalisation of the Ray Owen Reserve, with the redevelopment benefitting the entire Hills region.

Liberal Member for Hasluck, Ken Wyatt, said the said that Ray Owen Reserve was due for a revitalisation.

The redevelopment will include four new indoor basketball and netball courts will be built, the car park will be expanded and benefit from improved lighting, BMX clubrooms will be upgraded, and the outdoor netball courts will have floodlights installed.

“Ray Owen Reserve is a community hub, with more than 300,000 people using the facilities every year,” Minister Wyatt said.
“Sport is the heart of our community and they deserve access to safe and fit-for-purpose facilities.

“That’s why a re-elected Morrison Government will ensure that the sporting facility will remain accessible and open to more people, well into the future.

“Investing in local sporting precincts is part of my local Plan for Hasluck to deliver a stronger future for local residents through better physical and mental health for our communities.

“By delivering a strong economy, the Morrison Government can continue to deliver local infrastructure for local communities.”
Only the Liberals have a plan to deliver a strong economy and a stronger future for Hasluck.
