Biography

I am proud of my lifelong connection with the Pilbara. This region has been a huge part of my family’s story, which is why I am determined to give something back.

My parents pioneered the prawning industry in Learmonth in the 1960’s when the town of Exmouth did not exist, there was no sealed road to the area or other essential services taken for granted in metropolitan areas.

My early childhood was spent between Exmouth and Dongara, where my parents were also involved in crayfishing.

I have maintained close links to these regions, and we kept our family home in Exmouth, where I am now living.

For the past 30 years I have worked hard to progress my career as a lawyer, at the same time devoting myself to my four children to provide them with the best opportunities in life.

I care about the Pilbara and our communities. The people who live here should have access to the same level of services and opportunities other Western Australians enjoy.

The Pilbara is the engine room of the State and produces much of the nation’s wealth, yet is often left behind when it comes to the provision of basic services.

I will fight for practical solutions to the rising cost of living, improved access to health services and childcare, community safety, and devising a real plan to address the Pilbara’s housing crisis.

Our community deserves a representative who will work tirelessly for its future, and who gets things done.

It is time for change.

The Pilbara deserves better.

You deserve better.
