Biography

I’m George Tilbury, your local Liberal for Forrestfield. Our community is a fantastic place to live, work and raise a family. The unique country vibe, close knit community and proximity to major centres are just some of the reasons we all love the Foothills.

Currently, I serve in multiple roles—father, police officer, coach and community volunteer. These roles have given me the privilege of understanding and representing our community’s unique needs.

With 33 years of experience in the WA Police Force and as the former President of the WA Police Union, I deeply value dedication, service and community spirit. These values are essential for creating the kind of community we want to live in, raise our families and feel secure.

Ensuring the Tonkin Highway upgrade retains full access to Hale Road, supporting our seniors with high-quality local services and encouraging investment to maximise local job opportunities are key priorities for me.

As a member of the Liberal team, I’m fighting for real action on the cost of living, better access to local healthcare, more resources for our police and support for local businesses to create jobs and opportunities.

The electorate of Forrestfield includes diverse suburbs, each with their own unique requirements.  If you live in Bushmead, Forrestfield, Gooseberry Hill, Helena Valley, High Wycombe, Maida Vale or Wattle Grove; you deserve better.

Under Labor, these communities have been neglected. My no-nonsense approach and drive to achieve results for the people I represent will deliver the change you deserve.
