Biography

I’m Ka-ren, born in Malaysia and of Chinese descent. My family and I moved to Perth in 1987. After earning a BA with Honours in Politics from UWA and a Law degree from Murdoch University, I began my legal career. My husband Henri, also a lawyer, and I started our own law practice, which we’ve managed for the past 18 years. This experience has taught me a lot about running a small business.

I’m dedicated to helping Western Australia thrive. I believe in a government that cuts waste and bureaucracy, an education system focused on essential learning, and strong protection for the vulnerable.

I’m passionate about using my legal skills and business experience to meet our community’s needs. My goal is to find practical solutions that make things simpler and more efficient, ensuring government actions benefit those who need it most.

I’m committed to serving the people of Western Australia. I’ll fight for better education and protection for our community’s most vulnerable in State Parliament. I will use my expertise to bring positive change and help our state flourish.
