Biography

I’m Xavier Garbin, a proud resident of Busselton, WA, where I live with my wife and two daughters. As a Western Australian who has traveled extensively across our great state, I deeply appreciate its beauty and the incredible opportunities it offers. From the thriving mining and farming industries to the renowned wines of the South West and the innovative tech start-ups in the city, Western Australia is truly a land of endless potential.

Currently, I work in cyber security, translating complex technical jargon into plain language. Prior to this, I served 19 years in the Army, completing missions worldwide with the SASR. Since leaving the Defence Force, I’ve built a successful career in business development and project management in the private sector and held an executive role at the Attorney-General’s Department in Canberra. I also hold a Master’s in Business from UNSW ADFA.

When I’m not working with the Liberal Party team here in the South West, I love getting out into nature, whether it’s fishing in the streams around Pemberton or from a boat in Geographe Bay. I enjoy shooting clay targets at my local gun club. I also volunteer at the local RSL and actively participate in community events across the district, embracing all that the South West has to offer.

I am honoured to be a Legislative Council Candidate for the Liberal Party of Western Australia and am fully committed to improving the everyday lives of Western Australian families.

I can no longer remain a silent Liberal. I am dedicated to channeling my enthusiasm and zeal for progress into making the Liberal Party the preferred choice for Western Australians, ensuring that our families thrive and our state prospers.
