Today, I had the honour and privilege of being elected leader of the WA Liberal Party.
I would like to thank my colleagues for their support and thank David Honey for leading the party since the 2021 election.
When Western Australians go to vote, they deserve a real choice, and a genuine alternative, that appeals to their hopes and aspirations.
To achieve this, Western Australians need the contribution of a strong, diverse, connected and competitive Opposition.
As the Leader of the WA Liberal Party, I make this commitment that every day I will fight to get the best deal for you.
It’s extraordinary that in a state as prosperous as WA, that WA families are struggling to keep the lights on, don’t feel safe in their towns, and worry about whether the hospital system will be there for them in their hour of need.
I will fight for WA families, and for WA small and family businesses, so that you can prosper and achieve your goals.
I will fight to ease the cost-of-living pressures, so that you can keep more of your own money in your own pocket.
And I will fight to make our local communities safer, so that your loved ones can enjoy the benefits that WA has to offer.
